It’s best to make a small batch and use it up in a couple of days and then just make a new one than make a big batch and risk it going bad.

4. Cotton Candy Lip Scrub

If you like that cotton candy summer vibe you might like the idea of making this lip scrub. It’s actually super easy. You just mix 1 tablespoon of coconut oil with 2 tablespoons of granulated white sugar (you need specifically white granulated because you want the color to show up) and add a couple of drops of cotton candy flavouring. Divide into two bowls, add a drop of pink food coloring to one and a drop of blue to the other. Now all you’ve got left is packing it into a pretty clear lip scrub container to show off the color.

5. Mojito Lip Scrub

While we can’t have Mojitos at the bar with our friends every day, because of obvious reasons, it doesn’t mean we can’t make a mojito lip scrub and pretend we’re having a mojito while also taking care of our lips. Just mix together white granulated sugar and coconut oil until it forms a thick paste, add some freshly squeezed lime juice and a few mint leaves cut into little pieces.

6. Nourishing Lip Scrub

This is the easiest yet the most nourishing lip scrub you’ll ever make. All you need is honey and sugar. It’s best to use cane sugar since it’s softer and organic honey for all the vitamins. Just mix the two ingredients to form a grainy paste. The sugar will exfoliate, while honey will moisturize your lips. You can also add a few drops of nourishment. This should store absolutely fine at room temperature in a dark place, since honey has antibacterial and preservative qualities, but putting it in a fridge will give you that cooling refreshing feeling every time you go to use it.
