#1. Papaya and honey

Papaya is rich in vitamin A and is best for skin care as it removes dead skin cells and provides you with healthy and glowing skin. Both, application and eating papaya is beneficiary to our skin. It helps in reducing the skin signs of aging.

Honey is often considered as healthier sweetener but it has tons of benefits for hair and skin. Honey is the Nature’s energy booster–honey, has been used as a natural remedy for centuries to treat several ailments.  It has been an all-time favorite of nutritionists as well as dieticians. Including honey in your daily diet is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to prevent various skin diseases.

For healthy and glowing skin prepare a face mask by making puree of half-a-ripe papaya, add ½ tsp of honey and ¼ tsp of lime juice. Spread it over your face leaving the eyes, leave it for 15-20 minutes and then wash off.

 

#2. Oatmeal and yogurt

Oats are rich in fiber and protein. Oats are also said to be highly absorptive and can be used to cleanse, soften and soothe the skin and the best part is that Oatmeal suits all skin types. No reactions at all. In fact, oats have been clinically proven to help heal dry, itchy skin.

Yogurt is not just to eat; it has so many healthy properties for our skin as well as it makes hair strong. It moisturizes skin, fight acne and also prevent premature aging.

Prepare a mask by adding ½ cup of water to 1/3 cup of oatmeal and give it a stir until well blended and plump. Next add 1tbsp of honey and 1-2tbsp of yogurt. Put the mixture in blender and make a smooth paste. Then apply on your face generously and wash off after 10 minutes.

 

#3. Strawberry and lime juice

We all love strawberry, don’t we? Strawberries are not just meant for palette but it can do wonders to our skin. It’s rich in nutrients like vitamin C and are specially used to treat acne, skin texture, lighten and pigmentation. Strawberries helps in slowing aging process, treats burns and help in best form of UV protection.

Lime is basically a citrus fruit and is known for beneficiary effect on skin. Both application of lime juice to skin or its consumption are beneficial to skin. The benefits of lime juice includes: treats dark spots, treat acne, reduces skin tanning, removes dead skin etc.

Prepare a face mask as directed below for a healthy skin. Take ¼ cup of fresh strawberries and mash them either in a blender or with hand. Now add 2tbsp of lime juice, 1tbsp of yoghurt and 1tbsp of honey and mix well. Apply this on your face and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Then wipe off with warm, damp facecloth and follow this up with cool water rinse.

Stay Indoors

Try to stay indoors as much as you can during peak summers. If you cannot stay indoors then make sure that you are not in direct sunlight during peak hours, from 11 am till 3 pm. Always carry an umbrella or use a hat, as well as use sunscreen before stepping out in sun.

Skin Toning

Always use a toner to moisturize your skin. Toner helps in maintaining the ph level of your skin as well as removes the dirt from your skin. Instead of using market products which have chemical composition, try to make your toner at home by blending natural ingredients like rose water and glycerin.

Stay Hydrated

The most important thing to follow in summers is staying hydrated by drinking adequate water and other liquids. Dehydration leads to some of the health issues and your skin is also going to be effected. Drink as much as fresh fruit juices as you can, eat water based fruit like watermelon.
