This Is What Your Sitting Position Reveals About Your Own Personality

A person's body language can convey a lot about them. It may indicate whether they are nervous, joyful, or exhausted. However, not every physical gesture can be easily understood, and there are many that you probably won't even pick up on.

Everybody has a favorite way to sit. You're at ease wearing a certain style. It's a force of habit, not something we choose to do. I always sit with my right leg on top of my left leg, crossed-legged.

But did you know that the way you sit says something about your personality? We have examined the five most common sitting positions and what they reveal. Do you recognise yourself in one of these?

Position A
People who are in this way are creative and charismatic. They are happy in life and there is hardly ever a dull moment. Their easy attitude ensures that the problems solve themselves. They tend to speak before they think, but they are easy to talk to.

Take a look at the next page what position B, C, D reveals a lot about your personality

Position B
People who assume this position are dreamers. They have a rich imagination and are often absorbed in their own dreams. These people are often the ‘soul’ of their group of friends or colleagues. They are adventurers, want to travel and can easily connect with others.

If they have an idea, they act on it right away and do not wait to make it a new year’s resolution. Don’t be surprised if these people decide to spontaneously change jobs, partner or city. They get bored quickly and do not want to stay in the same place for too long.

Position C
These people find it difficult to concentrate and to sit still. They are often surrounded by what others see as chaos, except they consider it very logical. They can be choosy about their style, but they know better than anyone how to relax and take it easy.

Position D
People who prefer to sit in this position are intelligent, punctual and well-behaved. They prefer to keep their personal thoughts to themselves. They do not like it at all when others talk about them in public. However, these people are not afraid to confront people.

Position E
These people are often focused on their careers and have a clear purpose in life. They are in no hurry to start a family, but would rather achieve other things in their lives first. They have goals and will work hard to achieve them.

It is fascinating how much body language can reveal. I completely identified with it.
