Get Rid Of Spider Veins In These 7 Natural Methods

Spider veins, also known as varicose veins or telangiectasia, are unsightly veins that appear close to the surface of the skin, usually on the legs or face. They can be a source of self-consciousness and discomfort for many individuals. While medical treatments are available, there are also several natural methods that can help reduce the appearance of spider veins.

What are a few symptoms of Spider Veins?

Spider veins are typically characterized by their appearance, but they can also be accompanied by certain symptoms. Here are a few common symptoms associated with spider veins:

1. Visible Veins: The most obvious symptom of spider veins is the appearance of small, twisted, and swollen veins that are visible just below the surface of the skin. They often resemble spider webs or tree branches and can be red, blue, or purple in color.

2. Discomfort or Pain: Spider veins can sometimes cause discomfort or aching in the affected area. This discomfort may worsen after long periods of standing or sitting, and it may improve with leg elevation or rest.

3. Itching or Burning Sensation: Some individuals with spider veins may experience itching or a burning sensation in the affected area. This can be mild or more intense and may be accompanied by skin dryness or irritation.

4. Swelling or Throbbing: In some cases, spider veins may lead to localized swelling or a sensation of throbbing in the affected area. This can occur particularly after prolonged periods of standing or when exposed to heat.

5. Skin Changes: Spider veins may cause changes in the surrounding skin. The skin may feel tight or develop a rash, and in more severe cases, it may become discolored or develop a brownish pigment.

It's important to note that while these symptoms are commonly associated with spider veins, they can also be indicative of other vein-related conditions. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms or have concerns about your vein health, it is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment options.

Some of the ways you can deal with them are:

1. Apple Cider Vinegar

This mixture increases blood flow and also helps to bring down any form of swelling. Just use apple cider vinegar around the area affected and then, massage it. Doing it every day just before you go to bed will lead to great results. Don’t apply excess pressure on those affected areas. It will aggravate the problem.

2. Parsley

Parsley has loads of rutin and vitamin C in it. Both of these can help to make your capillaries strong and to restore your health. Chop parsley and pour it all in the one cup of fresh water. Boil it for about seven minutes and then, keep it aside so that it cools down. After that, you can add a couple of drops of essential oil in the mix. Dip cotton balls in the mixture and then, apply on the popping veins. The red and blue will slowly fade.

3. Witch Hazel

This is another great remedy. Witch Hazel has a lot of volatile oils and also tannin. Both can be used to reduce the popping of the veins. All you have to do is soak the cotton ball in the witch hazel. Apply on the area affected for fifteen minutes. Thrice a day will bring great results.

4. Cabbage

Cabbage has loads of calcium, fiber, magnesium, vitamins, and potassium. These can help with the reduction of swelling. Chop the cabbage leaves and then blend them in a blender. Pour some water so that it can be made into a fine paste. Now, put it in your affected area using a cotton ball. Leave it undisturbed for about two hours. Then, you can use water to wash it off. Within a month, you will see the results.

5. Ginger

With the antioxidants present in it, Ginger can help with spider veins. Cut some fresh ginger into small pieces and then, put them in boiling water. Let it stay and simmer in it for about ten minutes. Then, strain all the water. Add a bit of honey and drink the concoction twice or thrice a day.

6. Carrot, Aloe Vera, and Apple Cider Vinegar

This mixture can have great benefits for your body. Use three Aloe Vera leaves and extract the gel from them. Now, add about ½ cup of apple cider vinegar and make a paste. Now, apply it to the areas. Keep it like that for about half an hour and use lukewarm water to wash it away. Use it each night before bed for best results.

7. Vitamin E and Olive Oil

If you feel heaviness in your legs, then this is the way to go. It will soften your skin. Now, mix vitamin E and olive oil in equal proportions. Warm it up and then, keep applying it on the area affected. Massage it using an upward motion for five minutes. Once and twice a day for two months will be best.
